After making my way down to the river at last (see the video for Kolishar for the background story), with shoes completely covered in mud, I discovered this stunning and romantic spot on the Bulgarian bank, looking across to Romania on the other side, and played a little from Nos. 10 and 16 in my book 'Balkan Music from the Danube with Ottoman Influences'.
