Chong Chiu Sen is a vocal disciple of the legend
Padma Vibhushan Smt. D.K. Pattammal & he continued under her grand-daughter, shishya-parampara Smt. Gayathri Sundararaman.

He learnt voice culture for a period of time from Sri Madurai G.S. Mani.

He has a few tutors for his devotional and classical singing there are:-
The late Smt. Vijayalakshmi Kulaveerasingam
Smt Bharathi Sharma
Sri Sampagodu Vighnaraja to polish up his singing.

With Bhagavan's grace, he was invited to perform in The Music Academy during the annual conference in the morning session as a special performance. He also performed in the Spirit of Unity Concert many years back.

I finally fulfilled my Guru or God-Grandmother Smt DK Pattammal wish. She always wanted me to be a singer. To sing infront of Swami is my dream since young, My Guru once said: Mohan, you must sing in Puttaparthi! Finally i got a chance to sing. I knew deep down in my Guru's heart she always wanted to see Swami but unfortunately due to her health, she was no able to do so. This time, i am so glad that i able to dedicate a song to the Lotus Feet of Swami on her behalf as a student and god-grandson. I thank Swami for this golden opportunity. I have nothing else to ask for. Even if i leave this world tomorrow, i have no regret. I am sure my late father is happy for me too. I am not sharing as a musician, artiste, singer or vocalist. I am sharing all this as a student of my Guru and as a child of Mother Sai.. Said Chiu Sen.
