The only plan was to go on a new adventure. I set forth to Utah, a place I've never been to before. To a place I heard about just 2 days prior to leaving. Just a couple sentences and I was sold on Ibex. Without a guidebook nor downloading the Mountain Project area, I explored the magic of this little place in Western Utah.
The rock is red quartzite. A unique feel different from my usual sandstone or granite pulling.
I need to come back with a guidebook and some psyched climbing buddies! I'd try all styles out here. The boulders, sport and trad are so close to each other!
