The Call Recording feature allows users to record voice calls automatically or manually for reference, documentation, or personal records. On the POCO M6 Pro running HyperOS 2.0, this functionality is built into the system Phone app, and can be enabled through the app’s settings.

Follow the steps below to activate and manage call recording.

⮕ Step 1: Open the Phone Application
Unlock your device and open the Phone app (dialer), usually located on the Home screen or dock.

Tap the three-dot menu icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.

Select Call recording from the drop-down menu.

⮕ Step 2: Enable Call Recording
Inside the Call recording settings, you will find two options:

Record calls automatically

Selected numbers

Tap the toggle switch next to Record calls automatically to enable automatic call recording for all incoming and outgoing calls.

If you prefer to record only specific numbers, tap Selected numbers, then choose or add contacts you want to apply this feature to.

If automatic recording is turned off:

During an active call, look for the Record button on the in-call screen.

Navigate to: Internal Storage → MIUI → sound_recorder → call_rec

All recorded files will be stored here and are playable through any media player.
