Scott H. Biram - The Foundry, Dallas, TX. Aug 25th 2012 (Full set)

Описание: To the best of my knowledge this was the only time SHB played this venue. I only attended two shows there and I found the place had a bit of a hipster stench, and felt very much like it catered to the more gentrified segment of the Oak Cliff / Dallas area.

Anyway, regardless of beer prices (I don't drink), and clientele (I don't talk to many people), I couldn't resist a free Scott Biram gig. So my mate, Stephen and I trundled along on this warm summer evening. I'm pretty sure this was his introduction to The Dirty Old One Man Band, and he left rather impressed.

I took the trusty (for audio at least) Zoom Q2HD along with me, and I was starting to see it's limitations as far as video goes. We got a decent table not too far away from the stage, and I set up the recorder on a mini tripod. I hadn't played with the zoom feature before, so I wanted to see how that looked. I learned it gave a somewhat pixelated look, which is obviously annoying.

At the time, I ended up ripping the audio from my recording and listening to it on my mp3 player. Scott played a great set, but the video recording isn't mind blowing. Still...it doesn't deserve to be lost to time, so here it is.
