But if someone else has previously obtained a ration card using this residential certificate, this certificate cannot be used.

The next thing required is a passport size photograph of the person who will be the card holder. Usually, the senior woman of the family or the head of the household is the card holder. If there is no senior woman in the family, the head of the household can become the card holder.

The next thing required is an income certificate obtained from the village. Those whose monthly income is more than Rs. 25,000 do not need to submit an income certificate, they can just give a self-declaration.

The next thing required is the Aadhaar card of all the persons included in the ration card.

Now, if any of those who want to be included in the new ration card are included in any other ration card and if they are in the same taluk, then a copy of the ration card to which that person is included and the consent letter of the card holder of that ration card are required. Now, if that person is included in the ration card of any other taluk, then a transfer certificate is required.

Apart from these, the only thing required to apply for a ration card is a permanent mobile number
