Part 4 of Gallegher's Goes West: Trial by Terror originally aired on February 5th, 1967. The night before Joe Carlson's trial, his daughter Laurie sees George Moran with a pocket watch that resembles one owned by the victim, Judge McManus. She tells Gallegher, who sneaks into the gunman's room and steals the watch to examine it. When Gallegher and the sheriff examine it, they find it is inscribed with the initials "C.E.D.," evidently eliminating the link to McManus. Starring John McIntire as Whit White, Beverly Garland as Mrs. Carlson, Harry Townes as Mr. Barlow, Ron Hayes as George Moran, Roger Mobley as Gallegher, Jeanette Nolan as Erm White, Bill Williams as Joe Carlson, Joe Maross as Mr. Hatfield, Ray Teal as Sheriff Snead and Darleen Carr as Laurie Carlson.
