🔫 Zero Tolerance (Mega Drive) – First Attempt Longplay | Technopop’s Ambitious FPS
This is Sharkwave's first proper dive into Zero Tolerance on the Sega Mega Drive — a game famous for proving that Sega’s 16‑bit console could handle a Doom‑style first‑person shooter. At the time, this genre was seen as way beyond what the Mega Drive was capable of, and Zero Tolerance became one of the system’s standout technical achievements.
Sharkwave was completely new to the game, so this longplay is a genuine first‑time experience: learning the controls, exploring the levels, and trying to keep my squad alive for as long as possible. The run includes:
A full attempt until every member of my crew is dead
A second run starting from a password save point
Plenty of tense corridors, alien ambushes, and “oh no, I didn’t mean to do that” moments
Even though he didn’t finish the game, he was genuinely impressed — especially knowing how unusual this style of FPS was on the Mega Drive.
