This week's new snapshot 24w10a for Minecraft versions 1.21 and 1.20.5 introduces eight new wolf types, bringing the total to nine. The update's name remains unknown. Wolves now spawn on coarse dirt and podzol blocks, found in the Mesa, Jungle, and Taiga biomes. The new wolf breeds include Pale, Forest, Ash, Black, Chestnut, Red, Spotted, Striped, and Snowy, each found in specific biomes and varying in appearance and rarity.
