After 60 years, Warren Buffett, the 95-year-old "Oracle of Omaha," has officially stepped down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, the company he built into a global powerhouse. Greg Abel, Buffett's long-time deputy, is taking over as CEO. Buffett will remain chairman and continue to share his thoughts in annual letters. While Berkshire Hathaway investors appear a little nervous regarding the future, Buffett had been preparing for retirement for years, publicly naming Abel as his successor in 2021.
