China's first deep-sea floating wind power platform arrived at a sea borne oil field in the southernmost Hainan Province on Monday, after a three-day journey from a Chinese city 180 nautical miles away. The floating wind platform will be in service for at least 25 years at a depth of more than 100 meters, providing sustainable energy for oil and gas production in waters 136 kilometers off the coast of Wenchang, Hainan.
