Wiltshire Police CATCH-OUT drivers using their phones on the motorway using undercover HGV lorry

Описание: Wiltshire’s Roads Policing Unit has deployed an unmarked heavy goods vehicle to catch law‑breaking drivers on the M4.

Under Operation Tramline, officers ride in a National Highways cab that lets them peer straight into cars, vans and lorries, a high vantage point impossible from a standard patrol car.

The force warns that using a mobile phone at the wheel is one of the most common offences and a proven factor in fatal collisions.
