In a massive step that is expected to go a long way in further empowering and securing the rights of indigenous Assamese Muslims, the 7 Sub-Committees formed by the Assam Government for the development of Indigenous Assamese Muslim Community submitted their recommendations to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today.
The recommendations of the 7 sub committees were presented by Northeast Live Editor-in-Chief and Chairman of Sub-committee on Cultural Identity Wasbir Hussain highlighted the salient points put forward by the sub-groups.
