Join along with Precious as she learns how to Step by one of the greatest steppers of all time, “Taboo”. Stepping is a dynamic and rhythmic form of dance that originated within African American fraternities and sororities, particularly in the United States. Rooted in the rich tradition of African and African American dance, stepping combines percussive movements, synchronized footwork, hand claps, and spoken word to create intricate rhythms and patterns. The origins of stepping can be traced back to African tribal dances and the rhythmic rituals of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

In So Chicago, Precious will be exploring the city Chicago and its wonderful landmarks and experiences the city has to offer. Chicago's cultural tapestry is as diverse and vibrant as the city itself, reflecting the rich amalgamation of histories, traditions, and influences that have converged within its bustling streets. One cannot delve into Chicago's culture without encountering its legendary music scene, deeply rooted in jazz, blues, and house music. From the smoky bars of the South Side to the iconic venues of the Loop, Chicago pulses with the rhythms of its musical heritage, where legends like Louis Armstrong, Muddy Waters, and Frankie Knuckles have left an indelible mark.

Chicago is a melting pot of culinary delights, boasting a culinary landscape that ranges from hearty deep-dish pizza to mouthwatering hot dogs adorned with a plethora of toppings. Neighborhoods like Pilsen, Chinatown, and Little Italy offer a culinary tour around the globe, each dish telling a story of migration, adaptation, and innovation.
