Описание: Setup: Oktava MK-012 / Line Audio CM4 going into a MixPre3 II - Phantom Power is turned on for both mics.

This video is about comparing 2 excellent Small Diaphragm Condenser (SDC) microphones for dialogue/voice over. The Oktava MK-012 (with the Cardioid capsule installed) Microphone vs the Line Audio CM4 Cardioid Microphone.

The Gain is very high on both mics since I am not doing any post processing to the audio, except for Loudness normalization (Gain), I wanted the audio to be loud and legible for the audience/viewers.

Both mics were captured at the same time using a MixPre3 II. This is a very good professional recorder that should not color or taint the audio results.

I will be switching back and forth between the 2 mics during the video so you can judge for yourself which mic sounds better to your ears.
