Not much remains of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi's home and compound in Bab al-Azizya in the capital city Tripoli.
Rebels and other civilians stormed the compound and wrecked what many saw as the symbols of the old regime.
Al Jazeera's correspondent Andrew Simmons went into Bab al-Azizya. He had this report.
