A journey recorded back in 2018 right before 193 moved to Stagecoach onboard a completely forgotten bus type that left London, The Marshall Capital bodied Dennis Dart. Here, we ride DMN17 (new to First London in 2003 as DMS485. Scrapped around 2019 after the loss of 193 to stagecoach) between Queens Hospital and Romford Market on the 193 towards County Park Estate. The route under GAL had various kinds of Dennis Darts ranging from the said Marshalls to Plaxton pointers, a mini pointer dart, Evolution E200 Darts and short E200 SEN38 which pretty much vanished from GALs fleet once the 193 was lost.
These Marshalls that formerly operated the 193 had Euro 3 Cummins ISBe 3.9L engines coupled to a 4 speed Allison AT545 gearbox and they were childhood machines back then but ever since the 193 went to Stagecoach, they're completely forgotten about nowadays. Two longer length ex First London Marshall Capitals got preserved though but I don't think any of 193's former batch survives today.
