Footrace with Koopa the Quick While Permanently Squished

Koopa the Quick can't even win against a snail.
Normally, Koopa the Quick is way faster than us when squished, so initially, this seemed clearly impossible. However, you can get the star using a combination of janky object wall collision, framewalking, and slopes. If you attempt to do this in real time, you can also let Koopa the Quick push you with his hitbox in order to keep up with him. However, doing so is very difficult.
It is important noting that if you wanted to extend this challenge to the whole game, you would quickly run into some issues, the first of which being that we cant actually enter BoB. Even if we could, we would need to defeat King Bob-omb in order to select the right act for this star, but we cant defeat King Bob-omb because we need to grab him, and the B button doesn't do anything while Mario is squished.
For this reason, I think this challenge is better analyzed from a star-by-star basis, and we judge the possibility of a star based on if we can collect the star on that star's act or any of the previous acts.
