Google Data Analytics Course - Case Study - Cyclistic bike sharing company

Описание: In this project, we performed data analysis on a bike share company's data to understand the usage patterns of their annual members and casual riders. Our goal was to answer the question: How do annual members and casual riders use the bike share service differently?

To do this, we used various data visualization techniques and statistical methods to extract meaningful insights from the data. We started by creating bar charts to show the number of rides taken by each type of member at different 3-hour time intervals. This allowed us to identify any differences in usage patterns between the two groups.

Next, we created line graphs to show the trends in the number of rides taken by each member type over time. This helped us to understand how the usage of the bike share service changed over time and how it was influenced by seasonal factors such as weather or holidays.

We then used box plots to compare the duration of rides taken by annual members and casual riders. This allowed us to identify any differences in the way the two groups use the service, such as the type of trips they take or the distances they travel.

Finally, we used histograms to analyze the distribution of ride durations for both annual members and casual riders. This gave us a deeper understanding of the usage patterns of each group and helped us to draw more comprehensive conclusions about the differences between the two groups.

In conclusion, our analysis provided valuable insights into the usage patterns of the bike share company's annual members and casual riders, helping the marketing team to make informed decisions about their target audience and how to better serve their customers. The work done in this project highlights our ability to work with real-world data, perform data analysis, and effectively communicate our findings to stakeholders.
