I'm a total bib guy and Cally calls me crazy but they are just so dang comfortable. The Bib Liner Shorts by Pearl Izumi are part of my go-to getup for long or short rides. Between the fit and and feel of these bibs, I couldn't ask for a better base when I'm out riding my bike. I personally love to pair these Bib Liners with Pearl Izumi's Elevate Shorts (an unlined, long short) and either the Launch Jersey or the Divide Top. Not only do I feel good, I look good too.

The lightweight mesh that these liners are made up of allow for optimal breathability on the really hot days. That, combined with strategic seam placement and a comfortable chamois, keep me going all day long without questioning chaffing, rubbing, or profuse sweating.

Something that is really cool about these bibs is that they have an underwear style fly so when you have to pee it's not a pain at all. I also like the design of the leg openings. The hem is thick which makes it really comfortable. They've also not added any rubber gripping material which I definitely find to be irritating on long rides.

Out of convenience efforts, Pearl Izumi has added some pockets on the lower back portion of the bibs. I have not personally used them but if you are one to ride without a pack at all times, it's a great place to stash tools, snacks, or anything else you may have on you. If you don't prefer to use the pockets, don't worry you won't even feel 'em back there.

I'm guessing not everyone out there is into bibs as much as I am and if you're not, I highly recommend giving them a try. Plus, when you strip down into these bad boys after a long ride, all the ladies will be like whoa.

When you're ready to either give bibs a try or upgrade your current bibs, I would highly recommend the Bib Liner Shorts by Pearl Izumi. They are comfortable, breathable, and have a few added features that I've not had before in bibs. Also, be sure to check out the Elevate Shorts as they are the perfect combo shorts for these bibs.
