During the 2016 Peroni Race weekend at the Imola circuit some F1 cars took the track along the Boss GP formula cars. There was also this 2006 Toro Rosso STR1 F1car driven by the Austrian Ingo Gerstl in the open class. In the 2006 season this F1 car was driven by the italian driver Vitantonio Liuzzi and Scott Speed From U.S. Liuzzi finished 8th at the United States Grand Prix picking up his first point and the car in that season took part at 18 races. It's equipped with a 2.998cc V10 90° Ford-Cosworth TJ2005 naturally aspirated engine (limited to 16.700/17.000 rpm), longitudinally mounted. Other vehicle specs are a Red Bull seven-speed longitudinally-mounted gearbox with hydraulic shift and clutch operation and the suspensions front/rear are cast titanium uprights, pushrods, carbon-fibre upper and lower wishbones.
The total weight are 600 kg (1.300 lb) including driver. Enjoy the video ;-)

Durante il Peroni Race weekend 2016 all'autodromo di Imola sono scese in pista assieme alle Boss GP, alcune Formula 1. Tra queste una F1 Toro Rosso STR1 del team Top Speed e guidata dall'austriaco Ingo Gerstl nella categoria Open Class. Nella stagione 2006 questa vettura dispuntò un totale di 18 Gran Premi ed era portata in gara dal pilota italiano Vitantonio Liuzzi e dallo statunitense Scott Speed. Proprio Liuzzi conquistò 1 punto classificandosi ottavo al Gran Premio degli Stati Uniti. L'auto è spinta da un motore Ford-Corsworth TJ2005-2 V10 aspirato da 2.998cc montato in modo longitudinale in posizione cantrale-posteriore. Altre informazioni tecniche sono un peso di circa 600 Kg compreso il pilota, monoscocca in Carbonio ed alluminio, sospensioni a doppio braccio oscillante con sistema Push-rod realizzate in fibra di carbonio. Il cambio idraulico montato in posizione longitudinale è realizzato da Red Bull ed è un 7 marce semiautomatico. Davvero un suono spettacolare sul circuito del Santerno, buon ascolto!
