How to Make Grandmas Parkin | Cake Recipe for Halloween

Описание: We're 'off work' this week (in inverted commas because I've still been working!) I was doing some baking so I thought I'd share with you how to make grandmas parkin cake for halloween. I've got the camera rigged up on the top of the stepladder, all the parkin cake ingredients weighed out and ready, so join me to make and bake this halloween treat.

Now I'm no pro-cook but I can whip up a decent cake and I do like a bit of home baking. I've got my trusty old recipes, handed down from grandma, showing what you need and how to make grandmas parkin. So to make grandmas parkin, put the dry ingredients in a bowl and the wet ingredients in a pan. Warm the wet ingredients through until they melt and add to the dry mix to make a batter.

Pour all the parkin cake mix into a lined tin and bake for about an hour at 160 degrees C. When it's cooked allow to cool before removing from the tin. Cut into pieces and store in an airtight container and it will go sticky and chewy! Delicious for Halloween or Bonfire Night - or just because you like it :-)
