Through this event, we aim to broaden your understanding of the Korean credit markets and
to present new investment opportunities in Korean corporate bonds and securities.
Key participants of this event include the Korean Government, Korea Eximbank, Korea
Telecom(KT) and other key issuers in Korea.
The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MoEF) will be giving a presentation on the latest Korean
economy followed by key Korean issuers. These presentations will provide invaluable insights
on the Korean economy and high quality Korean issuers. Also, the scheduled panel discussion
will be touching upon recent topics amongst issuers, investors, and investment bankers.
The topic for this year’s panel discussion will be ‘2022 Emerging Market Bond Issuance’ with a
focus on new strategies for bond issuances under 1) the market implications of escalating U.S.
China tensions, 2) growing uncertainty of world economy and the direction of US interest
rate, and 3) impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the global economy
The aforementioned topics are major critical issues reshaping the global economy, and their
impacts on new-issue bond offerings by developing countries will be the key discussion topic
for both emerging market issuers and investors.
