Israel has conducted airstrikes killing more than a thousand people and claims to have weakened Hezbollah’s military capabilities. Despite a U.S.-backed ceasefire in 2024, Hezbollah continues to refuse disarmament and has threatened missile attacks if Israel resumes broader operations in Lebanon.
