Welcome back to Serenity Grove Off-Grid.
In today’s video, I’m putting together the new greenhouses and getting them set up the right way. We start by assembling the frames, then lay down a sand base for leveling and drainage, and finish it off with mulch around the perimeter to help with moisture control and weeds.
Nothing fancy. Just slow, steady progress on the homestead.
This is part of building out the greenhouse area so we can extend the growing season here in Northeast Arkansas (Zone 7B). I’m keeping it simple, practical, and budget-friendly.
Sometimes it feels like I’m just frigging around like an old lady out here… but that’s how things get done at Serenity Grove.
