Описание: We invite you to join Brother Chidananda, president and spiritual head of Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, for a special event celebrating the 75th anniversary of Paramahansa Yogananda’s dedicating the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, California, in 1950.

The SRF Lake Shrine was established by Yogananda as a universal spiritual sanctuary, where people from all over the world can come and experience true peace in heart, mind, and soul. At the dedication of the Lake Shrine on August 20, 1950, he said, “There must be world brotherhood if we are to be able to practice the true art of living. This shrine has been created for all religions, that all may feel the unity of a common faith.”

After the 2025 Pacific Palisades fire, remediation work on the Lake Shrine property prevented us from holding this event in 2025, but we are happy to mark this significant anniversary now with a special celebration with the SRF/YSS President at this sacred site.

This event will be livestreamed from the SRF Lake Shrine Temple on August 22, 2026.
