WHAT I EAT IN A DAY | TYPE 1 DIABETES

Описание: Henry is sharing what he eats in a day with Type 1 Diabetes. He is 9 years old and has had Type 1 diabetes for 7 years (since he was 2 years old). He wears the Dexcom continuous glucose monitor and the Omnipod pump. He manages independently at school with the help from us via texting. I am sharing this for a couple reasons.
1) Henry can eat anything anyone else eats (he just needs insulin)
2) He has no carb limit or food restrictions
3) I do want you to know this is just a tiny portion of what a Type 1 diabetic deals with in a day and in fact...it's the EASY part of managing diabetes--counting carbs and bolusing for them.
