This stretch is part of the Chennai Metro Phase 2 Corridor 5 of the Sozhinganallur - Madhavaram Milk Colony section. It is an elevated section. Contractor : L&T
Mugalivakkam, Ramapuram, Manapakkam & Chennai Trade Centre are the metro stations that will be constructed in this stretch.
Also integrated flyover construction work too in progress from Mugalivakkam to MIOT hospital . At first level will be flyover and second level metro viaduct construction work in progress.
In some portion i girder work nearing completion and in other stretch flyover girder work completed. Metro viaduct work completed in last stretch after Chennai Trade Centre metro station. Remaining stretch metro pier cap work completed in most section.
