Does The Zelda Timeline Really Matter?

Описание: The Zelda timeline has been the subject of endless debate among fans of the series, even eclipsing discussions of the games themselves. Whether fans were chronologically confused about the Zelda timeline in the 2000s or they were debating the official timeline revealed in Hyrule Historia, it's a topic that has persisted for well over two decades now. While some fans still debate the timeline to this day, many have simply accepted the official Zelda timeline first presented in Hyrule Historia as the one, true canon by which the games should be understood with.

There's just one problem with that: contrary to popular belief, the official Zelda timeline DOESN'T matter - and even the developers behind the series think so, too.

This video aims to explore the full history of the official Zelda timeline in an effort to definitively prove that - while there are clear signs of intentional and undeniable continuity in the series - the official timeline's relevance to The Legend of Zelda has been greatly exaggerated by some fans.
