Q: What do the colors mean?
A: Colors are assigned according to pitch, in a system I call "harmonic coloring" (since it shows changes in harmonies). You can read more about this here:

Q: Who is the performer?
A: To the extent that it was "performed," I'm the performer. I made the rendition using the conductor program (see https://www.musanim.com/Tapper/ for a description). So, it's my interpretation, but I didn't play it the normal way (let alone with left hand alone, which is how Godowsky intended it).
