Описание: WQED explores one of America’s most treasured biking destinations. Consisting of two connecting trails, the C&O Canal Towpath (Washington, D.C. to Cumberland, Maryland) and the Great Allegheny Passage (Cumberland, MD to Pittsburgh, PA), cyclists from all over the world are enjoying 335 uninterrupted miles of breathtaking scenery and fascinating history. Viewers will follow the trail with a diverse group of cycling tour guides, each of whom take us through a different section of the trail. Our “guides” include a young married couple - both military veterans; four women from Cleveland who founded the organization “Black Girls Do Bike”; a nature photographer; a trail volunteer, and others. www.wqed.org/ride
