Описание: PM Modi In Israel: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s two-day visit to Israel could mark a defining moment in bilateral ties, with sources indicating that India and Israel are set to elevate their relationship to a “special strategic partnership.”

The announcement is expected following bilateral talks between Prime Minister Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. Several memorandums of understanding are likely to be signed, spanning defence cooperation, technology, artificial intelligence, agriculture and water management.

Sources also indicate that momentum is building around a long-pending Free Trade Agreement, with Israeli finance and economy officials currently in India to accelerate negotiations. Israeli officials have told NDTV they are keen to conclude the FTA swiftly.
