The rift in the Wiper Democratic Party Kitui County continues to widen after area Governor Julius Malombe accused Senator David Musila of blackmailing party leader Kalonzo Musyoka. Musila who is currently on a war path with Musyoka over the Wiper ticket for the gubernatorial seat Wednesday charged that he would challenge Malombe for the seat despite pleas from the party leader to drop his bid. In Nyandarua, Governor Daniel Waithaka has fallen out with his deputy Mwangi Kirika after the latter declared he will contest for the gubernatorial seat in the August elections, a move that will see them square it out for the Jubilee ticket.
