Beginning with the construction of our current church building in 1970, we trace the challenges of a rapidly growing congregation, overcrowded worship and Sunday school spaces, limited parking, and increasing accessibility concerns. Through thoughtful planning, determined leadership, and the generosity of many, the church embarked on a multi-phase expansion that transformed both the building and the ministry it supports.

From the creation of a new Main Street entrance and expanded parking, to the addition of a fully accessible sanctuary, elevator, solarium, offices, choir spaces, and improved systems, this story reflects years of careful planning, fundraising, and perseverance—often in the face of unexpected challenges.

We also honor the individuals, families, and local partners whose generosity made this transformation possible, including the Promises to Keep capital campaign, legacy gifts, and the faithful stewardship that ultimately allowed the church to retire its mortgage in full.

Today, we celebrate not just a building—but a shared legacy of faith, inclusion, and gratitude. This space stands as a testament to everyone who helped create a church ready to serve future generations.
