Before you visit an exhibition, you wonder "Is it worth going to see?". This video walks you through "Ashes to Fashion" and gives you some idea of what it's like. (It's been beautifully done).
The exhibition runs until September so there is plenty of time to view it - once or many times. And it's not just for keen sewists or history of clothes experts. It's for anyone interested in colour, shape, texture, art and imagination.
The official exhibition publicity does not necessarily sound exciting, as it majors on a sense of archive and history. (Although it's a great achievement to rebuild a fashion/textiles collection from scratch, after a malicious fire).
