Lindsay and I take a dinner flight to Venice, Florida. There is a really nice FBO there and a van that will pick you up from the FBO and take you to a restaurant called Sharky's. They have a full menu of seafood, salads, burgers and chicken items. I had the pineapple grilled chicken sandwich and Lindsay had the grilled tofu with black beans and rice. Both very good options. We saw the sunset and walked along the pier which is very easy access from the restaurant. We elected to walk back to the airport FBO from Sharky's which was an enjoyable 30 minute walk. The FBO does charge a $10 handling fee however, that charge was waived for us.
