I'm finishing the presentation of the new very high slingback pumps. As is often the case on the terrace, the gaps between the planks are tricky, but everything turned out well.
Info on this shoes:
I got these new high-heeled shoes because they look really charming. I like the slingback style, and the strap with the decoration is very pretty. They have a very high heel, which I usually like. However, these shoes don't have a platform, so the heel really stands out – it's much harder to walk in these shoes compared to, for example, my black mules, which are almost as high. I hadn't considered that such a small difference in heel height could make such a difference when walking. But I really wanted them 😁. Now I'm wondering if it's worth it? Are they really that much prettier than other shoes with heels half an inch lower? With these shoes, I wish they had a slightly lower heel – or a platform, then even a higher heel would not be a problem. So if I wanted to walk comfortably in these shoes, I'd have to practice a lot more.
