following in the footsteps of the previous video, where I explored Tape Fiasco, an interesting new FX device focused on granular and glitch-based sound manipulation, today I’m bringing it back, using it to generate source material (by processing a phone-recorded field recording) to create sound textures and, ultimately, a short ambient piece.
Some of the sounds from the video were cleaned up and combined with others to form a small but cool sample pack (21 textures and glitchy sounds), which you can find in our membership along with the rest of this season’s content.
