Casablanca Delta II Ceiling Fan 50” (Brushed Nickel/Maple)(4 Blade)(iMovie Edition)

Описание: Got this from Gregory Parker off of eBay at a great price. Delta II ceiling fans are very common, alongside the Panama, but a Delta II in brushed nickel is VERY uncommon/rare. It is from June 5th 2000 491st fan that day. Now the Delta series did come in brushed nickel and was sold throughout the 2000s as the Delta III, both 3 speed and IT, but finding a Delta II in this finish is rarely seen. This is due to the fact that it came out in this finish in the late 90s when brushed nickel wasn’t trending at the time. Some will argue that this is a Delta III but the difference is that the Delta II never had the tag without the serial number on the motor housing, which is something that the Delta III had. This one has the motor tag with the serial information and not the one that just says Casablanca like later Casablancas did going into the 2000s. Oddly enough it had a metal ball socket instead of a plastic one. With it being from the year 2000, it uses an XLP motor, and uses a threaded down-rod as it was made after Hunter bought out Casablanca. It originally came with light oak blades but I through some maple blades on it as I felt it went with the fan better. Absolutely love how it looks and truly wish these were more common. Plan to try it with a brushed nickel K4B that I have at some point in the future. Would put this in my bedroom with the K4B but rather wait till I get my own place. Another reason is that it’s so similar to the Panama II I have in my room that it doesn’t really make the swap worth doing especially since I would have to swap the remote receiver I have in the Panama II into this and the only difference on the fans are the vents so it would make more sense to just swap the bottom vent plate. Even then it seems to be more work than it’s worth so for now it’s up to be the next bedroom fan unless I choose something else. Regardless it’s a fan that will get an install at some point in the future. Having a traditional look and being in a more updated finish really makes it stand out which is what I like about it. Performance it amazing as to be expected from a Casablanca from this time period. Really is a shame that these aren’t a common fan as there’s so many places that would of looked great with these had they been sold longer, and with the Delta III only being a Design Expo exclusive it makes them even more uncommon compared to other models like the Panama. Truly a classic model from Casablanca and one of the oldest series sold from the company until it was discontinued. One of my favorite models and truly a classic. Enjoy!
