Lapu-Lapu Shrine is a bronze statue honors the warrior who defeated Magellan in the Battle of Mactan. It’s not just a monument—it’s a symbol of Filipino courage and independence.
We roll into the National Museum. Inside, you’ll find treasures like Juan Luna’s Spoliarium and exhibits that showcase the Philippines’ rich art, history, and natural wonders. It’s like stepping into the country’s soul.
Cruising along, we reach the Manila Post Office. This neoclassical gem has stood since 1928, designed by Juan Arellano. Though it was damaged in WWII and recently hit by a fire, it remains a proud landmark of resilience.
Crossing the Pasig River, we ride over the Binondo–Intramuros Bridge. Opened in 2022, its sleek steel arch design connects Chinatown with the historic walled city. It’s a perfect blend of modern engineering and heritage.
Finally, we arrive at Intramuros—the Walled City. Built in 1571, it was the heart of Spanish colonial Manila. From Fort Santiago to San Agustin Church, every corner whispers stories of the past. Riding through here feels like time travel.
