An irate customer assaulted a McDonald's employee with hot coffee following a dispute over a canceled breakfast order.
The incident occurred at a McDonald's in Saginaw, Michigan, where the customer, previously arguing she waited an hour, threw the scalding beverage after being told the order was canceled and a refund was issued.
The employee sustained minor burns. Police received over 100 tips identifying the suspect almost immediately and have recommended felonious assault charges.
