It was a tough day at the office for the Michaelhouse U16A side as they hosted a clinical and fired-up Kearsney College team who controlled the game from start to finish.
Michaelhouse opened the scoring with a well-worked try to take an early lead, but that was the only moment they had their noses in front. From there, Kearsney shifted into gear — showcasing power, precision, and relentless tempo. By halftime, they had stormed ahead 28-7, and they didn’t take their foot off the gas.
The second half was more of the same, with Kearsney executing with ruthless efficiency. Despite some late consolation scores from House, it was all too little too late. Kearsney ran away with it in emphatic fashion, sealing a commanding 52-21 victory.
