(11 May 2014) The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party held a rally on a main thoroughfare across from the Pakistani parliament on Sunday, with thousands of supporters protesting against what they say was the rigging of last year's general election.
Party leader Imran Khan demanded that the government sack the members of the Pakistani election commission.
Khan announced that his party would continue to hold rallies in various Pakistani cities until electoral reforms ensured fair elections.
"Immediately, we want fingerprint verification in four constituencies. We have been waiting for one year," he said.
The elections were held in May of last year.
