The size of the magnetic oil drain plugs I replaced is M18 x 1.5MM. I bought them on ebay.
The kia e-niro is at 72,000 miles now.
I have done less than 500 miles after a brand new gearbox/transaxel was installed. So I thought it would be a good idea to check if the oil contamination is taking place.
To my horror, something is contaminating the oil again! To keep an eye on this, I have installed a magnetic oil plug, and I will change the oil every 5,000 miles.
The next oil change will be at 77,000 miles.
