Here is the first part of the process of creating leather earrings. First, the shapes are traced onto a large piece of leather, cut out, and the edges are shaved off to give them a smooth finish.
Next would be adding details like carved and beveled designs and then dying the leather a new color. Finally, they are covered in a beeswax coating to make them water resistant and more durable. Then assembled onto Sterling Silver earring hooks.
