ℹ️ About the Episode:
If you haven't heard of RAGBRAI, it stands for Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, and this year is the 50th anniversary. There were 30,000 bicyclists—a sight to see even if you don't ride—and the RV was the tool of choice for many riders, including us. It was up to Trish to navigate the truck and trailer solo across the state. This episode includes many special people, all up for the challenge of doing hard things. We look for opportunities that push us outside of our comfort zone and allow us to be a little more grateful for things we might take for granted. There's also the added benefit of knowing that if we can do this, we can do other things that are new and scary.
We don't normally recommend books we haven't read, but ​The Comfort Crisis: Embrace Discomfort to Reclaim Your Wild, Happy, Healthy Self​ comes highly recommended by Jeff. We know of the author, and we talked about this book during our 530-mile ride across Iowa. Truth be told, there isn't much we didn't talk about! You know we love books, and you might enjoy this one.
