I want to make an altered book art journal, so I thought I would share with you how I chose the books to make an altered book art journal.
What should you look for when you purchase an a book to make an altered book journal?
A book that feels good in your hand. It's not too big or too small.
Usually, a book that has 100 or fewer pages, unless you want to have a really big art journal altered book.
A book with older more porous paper that will absorb you paint or medium.
And a book that has a sewn in binding so that your book won't fall apart when you add paint and other mediums.
