PT: Esta manhã, ao acompanhar a trovoada que se tinha formado a SW do Algarve, fui até à zona do estacionamento da Praia do Molhe, em Ferragudo, no intuito de fotografar ou filmar a trovoada.
Havia uma célula mais ativa que se tinha formado a SW de Sagres e que começou a vir em direção à zona onde estava. Era uma célula de longa duração. o que me chamou à atenção, mas nunca esperei que formasse tornado.
No vídeo que coloco, vê-se, primeiro, a aproximação desta célula, com muito precipitação a acompanhar e, ao aproximar-se de terra, começo a perceber que a zona superior da célula estava com rotação (mesociclone), e comecei a aperceber-me que as cortinas de chuva estavam a aproximar-se com rotação também. No lado direito, elas vinham de terra para o mar, e no lado esquerdo do vídeo, corriam do mar para terra. Apercebi-me, também, no flanco direito do tornado, que se tornou visível e vinha em direção a terra.
Só tive tempo de posicionar o carro de forma a receber os ventos por trás e, foi quando o tornado passou por cima da minha localização, com ventos muito intensos e que, duraram cerca de 15 a 20 segundos, mas parecerem uma eternidade.
O tornado evolui depois para Norte, passou junto ao Parque de Campismo de Ferragudo, passou pela zona do Gramacho Golf, Vale da Pinta Golf, segui em direção à Bemposta e ao Auchan, em Lagoa, e terá terminado na zona das estufas na Torrinha.

I WAS INSIDE THE FERRAGUDO #TORNADO

This morning, while following the thunderstorm that had formed SW of the Algarve, I went to the parking area of ​​Praia do Molhe, in Ferragudo, intending to photograph or film the thunderstorm.
There was a more active cell that had formed SW of Sagres and that began to come towards the area where I was. It was a long-lasting cell, which caught my attention, but I never expected it to form a tornado.
In the video I'm posting, you see, first, the approach of this cell, with a lot of precipitation accompanying it, and, as it approached the land, I began to notice that the upper area of ​​the cell was rotating (mesocyclone), and I began to notice that the rain curtains were also approaching with rotation. On the right side, they were coming from land to sea, and on the left side of the video, they were running from sea to land. I also noticed, on the right flank of the tornado, that it became visible and was heading towards the land.
I only had time to position the car to receive the winds from behind, and that's when the tornado passed over my location, with very intense winds that lasted about 15 to 20 seconds, but seemed like an eternity.
The tornado then evolved to the North, passed alongside the Ferragudo Campsite, passed through the Gramacho Golf area, Vale da Pinta Golf, continued towards Bemposta and Auchan, in Lagoa, and ended in the greenhouse area in Torrinha.
Intense situation!
