Original comments: "What's included here is a fairly short performance, and possibly not the complete show. It all sounds great, and I've done nothing with the sonics. I did take the liberty of re-tracking it as you'll now find it. That was done to keep the musical performances separate from the predominantly German language tracks that make up about 8 minutes of the share. Track 8 here was originally track one, and we now have the share starting with the performance of On the Rise. Track 9 had originally followed Aeolus, and track 10 had followed Pepe Linque. Those tracks include short interviews where Ralph Towner and Paul McCandless respond to questions in English, which are then followed by a German translation and commentary on what they'd said. I sincerely hope that the German language Oregon enthusiasts here will not mind my decision of now presenting the show in this way.
Regarding the music played, Oregon watchers will note the absence of any group improvisations in this broadcast, and that is pretty unusual in Oregon shares. This is also primarily made up of tracks that came from their then current album, In Stride. The song If dated back to the Prime album from 2005. Only Pepe Linque went back any farther, by originating back in the Collin Walcott days and the Crossing album recorded before his passing late in 1984. This share is a good opportunity to focus in on the later Oregon repertoire, which kept developing through their final years of recording and touring."
