In this video, we are implementing a mild-level real-time business scenario to strengthen understanding of Trigger.oldMap after covering core fundamentals across previous trigger videos in the series.
🎯 Scenario:
Whenever an Account Rating is upgraded (for example: Cold → Warm, Warm → Hot, or Cold → Hot), the system should:
Capture the Rating Upgrade Date
Store the Previous Rating Value
If the Rating is downgraded or remains the same, the record should save normally without any tracking updates.
